O’Shaquie Foster is facing Stephen Fulton in a WBC Interim Lightweight title bout at tonight’s PBC boxing card. This bout was originally supposed to be for Foster’s WBC Junior Lightweight title, but Fulton weighed in two pounds over the limit. After that happened, the WBC decided to make this an Interim title fight at 135 pounds.
Here is my preview and best bet for Stephen Fulton vs. O’Shaquie Foster.
O’Shaquie Foster Moneyline (-110)
Fulton’s previous two bouts took place at 126 pounds, and he has never fought at Lightweight before. He is 23-1 with eight knockouts in his career and is coming off a unanimous decision victory against Brandon Figueroa in February. Since suffering his first career loss to Naoya Inoue in July 2023, Fulton has gone 2-0. Foster got back in the win column and beat Robson Conceicao in November 2024 in his last contest.
On DraftKings Sportsbook, Fulton is a -115 favorite with Foster being a -110 slight underdog. This fight has an over/under of 10.5 rounds with the over being -475.
In this contest, Foster is two inches taller (5’8.5″ vs. 5’6.5″) and has the larger standing reach (72″ vs. 70.5″). This should allow Foster to dictate the pace of the fight and prevent Fulton from getting going. Also, since Fulton missed weight, it makes you wonder how prepared he is for this fight.
