Diggs is coming off a season-low two receptions last week for just 20 yards, but this Giants’ defense offers a great opportunity to get back on track.
New York enters this matchup ranked 30th in total points and 30th in yards allowed. They are even weaker against the run but rank 23rd in passing yards conceded, 16th in net yards per passing play, and 24th in passing touchdowns conceded. Amon-Ra St. Brown shredded them for 149 receiving yards last week, and three different receivers tallied over 50.5 receiving yards in the matchup with the Bears two weeks prior.
Diggs is averaging 56.6 receiving yards per game this season and has tallied over 50.5 receiving yards in five games this year. He has had 100+ yards in three of these matchups, and this is a bounce-back spot Diggs should be thrilled about. One area where Diggs has slightly underwhelmed is his ability to reach the end zone. He has three touchdowns on the season, which trails both Hunter Henry and Kayshon Boutte for the most on the team, who each have five. But this feels a bit of an outlier for his level of production. Diggs has been targeted 10 times in the red zone this year, which trails only Henry for the most on the team. He has pulled in eight of these targets for receptions, but only three have resulted in scores. He has also been targeted five times within the 10 yard line, where two of these scores occurred.

Expect the Giants’ defense to be the perfect opportunity for this to occur and for the star wide receiver to record his fourth touchdown of the season tonight.
