For this bet to hit, we need Fulham to win the game. If it ends in a tie, the bet will void. Man City have dominated this fixture in recent seasons, winning each of the last five games between these sides. However, I will not be taking them to win this one.
Fulham have been excellent at home this season, and are coming off a great result, beating Tottenham on the road in their last match. The Cottagers have won three of their last four Premier League games. They have won four of their six home games this season, drawing one and losing one. Their only loss came to the league leaders, Arsenal.
On the flip side, Man City have been shaky in recent weeks. They lost to Newcastle, then lost to Bayer Leverkusen. In their last match, they nearly slipped up at home to Leeds, needing a 90th minute winner from Phil Foden to get the three points in the 3-2 win. Man City have been excellent at home this season, but not very good on the road. Their seven away points in six games is the ninth-best mark in the Premier League. They have won two, drawn one and lost three of those six games.
Craven Cottage has not been an easy place to come to this season, and a night game in December doesn’t sound like it will be a straightforward task for the Citizens. Fulham may not win this one, but I don’t fancy them to lose it either.
