On the other side of the coin, Leeds have been a bottom three team in the league away from home this season. In six games, they have won once and lost five. Their sole road victory was against the worst team in the league, Wolves.
City are coming into this one off the back of a 2-1 defeat to Newcastle, but going to St James’ Park is a tough match for any club. Their 24 goals scored this season are tied with Arsenal for the best mark in the league. Leeds have conceded 22, with only three sides allowing more.
City have won each of the last four Premier League meetings between these teams, with three or more goals being scored in every game. After resting most of their starters in their midweek Champions League game against Bayer Leverkusen, they should be ready to get back on track in style on Saturday.
