Matchweek nine of the Premier League has arrived and one of the games on Sunday’s slate sees Arsenal host Crystal Palace.
Arsenal sit top of the league after eight games, winning six, drawing one and losing one. Palace sit in 9th place at the moment, winning three, drawing four and losing one.

In 12 games in all competitions this season, the Gunners have only conceded three goals and have won 10 of those matches. They have kept a clean sheet in each of their last four contests. Scoring a goal against this side has proven to be borderline impossible.
Crystal Palace are a decent team going forward, scoring 12 goals in eight Premier League games. They don’t play the Gunners every week, however, and I think they will struggle in this one. Arsenal are particularly effective at home, only conceding one goal at the Emirates all season. It took a great goal from the best striker on the planet, Erling Haaland, to unlock this defense in North London.
At this point, there’s not much to argue against Arsenal having the best defense in the world, and I will keep taking them to win to zero until proven otherwise.
