Week 8 of the college football season has a great slate of Saturday games, headlined by an SEC matchup between No. 5 Ole Miss and No. 9 Georgia.

Dae’Quan Wright Anytime TD (+245)
This is a massive game for Ole Miss. Lane Kiffin finally got the monkey off his back by beating Georgia last year. However, Ole Miss still went on to miss out on the College Football Playoff, while Georgia won another SEC championship. This road trip to Athens will be tougher than last year’s home game, but once again, Lane Kiffin has a playoff-caliber team with Kirby Smart standing in his way. Trinidad Chambliss has been a revelation for Ole Miss at quarterback, and he will need to be at his best for Ole Miss to get this win. Georgia is elite at stopping the run, ranking eighth in the nation in defensive EPA/rush. However, they are vulnerable in the secondary, ranking 84th in the nation in defensive EPA/pass.
If Trinidad Chambliss is playing his best, he will be looking at tight end Dae’Quan Wright early and often. Wright ranks second on the Rebels in receiving yards this season. He is also the team leader with three receiving touchdowns on the year. At +245, these odds are too high on Wright finding the end zone. At 6’4 255 pounds with great athleticism, even an elite defense like Georgia will struggle to stop Wright. He just scored a touchdown last week against Washington State, and Chambliss will be comfortable looking for his big body in this game. At these odds, it’s worth a shot on Wright to score a touchdown against Georgia.
Nate Frazier Anytime TD (-110)
It has been a rollercoaster of a college career for Nate Frazier so far. Last season, he was the backup to Trevor Etienne as a true freshman. However, after Etienne struggled with injuries and consistency, Frazier became the primary back for the Bulldogs. Issues holding on to the football cost Frazier that role down the stretch. Once Etienne was healthy, he took over the starting role for the final games of Georgia’s season, due to Kirby Smart not trusting Frazier’s ball security. This season, Frazier started the season as the primary back. However, those fumble issues reared their ugly head in Georgia’s biggest game of the season. He fumbled early in the game against Alabama, giving the Crimson Tide prime field position. Frazier ended up getting benched for the majority of that game.
Despite his fumble issues, Frazier is too talented to be left on the sideline. Kirby Smart started to work him back into the offense against Kentucky. Then, last week against Auburn, Frazier had 12 total touches, the most on the team. It looks like Frazier has worked his way back to the starting running back role, and Georgia will need him in this game. Ole Miss ranks 22nd in the country in defensive EPA/pass, but 122nd in defensive EPA/rush. The Bulldogs should be able to gash them on the ground all game. Once they get close to the end zone, they should give it to their best back, Nate Frazier, and he should get six on the board.
