Washington vs. Michigan: Denzel Boston Anytime TD (-110)
Few wide receivers in the country have been as brilliant as Denzel Boston this season. He has helped Washington be one of the most efficient offenses in the country. The Huskies are 5-1, with their only loss coming against No. 1 Ohio State. If they could pick up this win against Michigan, they would be in a great position to push for a College Football Playoff position. This is not the Michigan defense of old that Washington will be facing. The Wolverines rank 61st in the nation in defensive EPA/pass. Meanwhile, Washington ranks fourth in the country in offensive EPA/pass. Denzel Boston has three touchdowns in his past two games and six touchdowns on the season. Against an attackable secondary, Boston should find the end zone once again in this game.
Notre Dame vs. USC: Jadarian Price 70+ Rushing Yards (-117)
One of the best games of the weekend is Notre Dame vs. USC. Both teams are fighting for their College Football Playoff lives. They are also two of the best offenses in the nation, with question marks on the defensive side of the ball. This should be a shootout between these two great offenses. For Notre Dame, that means utilizing its dominant rushing attack. Jeremiyah Love and Jadarian Price are one of the best running back duos in the nation. Love deservedly gets the headlines, but Price would be the RB1 at almost any other team in the country. While Price is averaging around four fewer carries per game than Love, he has been more explosive, averaging 6.7 yards per rush. USC ranks 69th in the nation, so Notre Dame should move it efficiently on the ground. Notre Dame will also want to run it to use up the clock and keep the ball away from Jayden Maiava. Price has rushed for at least 70 yards in three of his past four games. He should do so again in this big game against USC.
BYU vs. Utah: Bear Bachmeier 43+ Rushing Yards (-117)
Bear Bachmeier is in for the biggest test of his career on Saturday. The Holy War between Utah and BYU is one of the best rivalries in college football. Bachmeier entered his freshman season at BYU expecting to be the backup. However, expected starter Jake Retzlaff had to transfer at the last minute, thrusting Bachmeier into the starting role as a true freshman. He has risen to the occasion, leading BYU to a 6-0 start. That being said, the Cougars have not faced a real test yet. They will certainly get one on Saturday against Utah. Not only is it a massive rivalry game, but the Utes will be the best and most physical team they have faced thus far.
For Bear Bachmeier, this will be his true “welcome to college football” moment. The Utah pass-rushers will be the scariest he has seen in his life. The Utah pass defense is also elite, ranking seventh in the nation in defensive EPA/pass. However, they can be attacked on the ground, ranking 86th in defensive EPA/rush. Bachmeier has been impressive with his legs since Big 12 play started. In three conference games, he is averaging 16 carries, 76.7 rushing yards and a rushing touchdown per game. He should have issues finding open receivers against Utah, pushing him to rely on his legs and take off running whenever possible. That should get him over this rushing total for the fourth straight game.
