There are 13 games across the NHL slate this Saturday with some star-studded rosters like the Oilers, Lightning, Avalanche, Stars, Hurricanes, Kings and Golden Knights all in action at various points. While the schedule starts with a matchup at 1 p.m. EST followed by a couple of afternoon-window games, we’re honing in on the top player prop bets for 7 p.m. EST or later. That gives us a large pool of 10 more contests to choose from with options aplenty on the table.

Connor Hellebuyck over 23.5 saves (+100)
Even odds on a Connor Hellebuyck saves line? What in the world? This one has me asking a few questions. On one hand, the opposing Predators average just 26 shot attempts per game this season, so perhaps the line bakes in a low projection of total attempts Hellebuyck might face. However, this guy is still a three-time Vezina winner and just locked down the Hart last year. His save totals over his first three game of 2025-26 are 32, 30, and 15… take the average of that and we end up with 25.67. Everyone knows just how talented the Jets’ goaltender is, and as long as he sees around 25 attempts tonight, he’s capable of helping bettors cash this line with ease. Capitalize on the lower line here.
Logan Stankoven 1+ points (+120)
The meeting between the Kings and Hurricanes tonight looks like one of the more fun matchups of the day. After all, these are both teams that made the playoffs last year and retained most talent, and Carolina also added some significant pieces over the offseason. Logan Stankoven came to town at the deadline last season in the Mikko Rantanen trade and posted 17 points in 34 games as he got acclimated to his surroundings. Now, he’s seeing a greater uptick in time on ice at 16:38 a game this season as the second-line center. At just 5-foot-8, Stankoven may be small, but he’s a fierce competitor and has three points in four games so far to start the new campaign. I considered Nikolaj Ehlers to record his first point as a Cane at -125 odds, so that’s an alternate option if you’d rather a bigger star than the plus odds here. Either way, opposing goalie Darcy Kuemper has started the year very poorly with an .868 SV% and 3.35 GAA.
Jason Robertson 4+ shots on goal (+145)
The Stars’ top goalscorer of the 2024-25 season suffered an injury just before the playoffs last year and didn’t quite look like himself when he returned to the ice in the second round. However, Jason Robertson seems fully back to his old self as one of the NHL’s premier attackers. He’s played aggressive hockey through his first few games and sits 10th in total shots, as well as fourth in the stat among players to notch an equivalent sample size of four games or fewer. Robertson has five or more shots on goal in three of four games thus far, and he came up just short of this prop bet line with three in the one game he didn’t hit the tally in. Tonight, a rivalry game against the Blues on the road will require every bit of star power his team can muster, so watch for the winger to pressure Jordan Binnington throughout the contest and record at least four shots on net.
