The 2025 NFL season is onto the Sunday slate of Week 6. There are plenty of ways to get in on the action. Here’s a look at my favorite player prop bets for this week’s schedule, all of which you can place on DraftKings Sportsbook.
Without further ado, here are three of the best player props for NFL Week 6, including George Pickens, Tyler Warren and Michael Carter.
NFL Week 6 Player Props
Cowboys at Panthers: George Pickens Anytime TD (+115)
For another week, George Pickens will be the WR1 in Dallas. Pickens was having a good start to his Cowboys career, then CeeDee Lamb went down with an injury. That thrust Pickens into the role of being the team’s primary pass catcher. That is a role Pickens was very familiar with during his time in Pittsburgh, but part of the reason he was acquired by the Cowboys was to be a guy who can win in single coverage while the opposing defense works to stop CeeDee Lamb. Against the Packers, Pickens rose to the occasion, going for 134 yards and two touchdowns. However, against the Jets and Sauce Gardner, he only had two catches. That being said, one of those two catches went for a touchdown.
Pickens has been the go-to guy for Dak Prescott in the red zone. He ranks second in the NFL in receiving touchdowns, with five scores through five games. Against the Panthers’ defense, he should be set for a big performance. The Carolina defense looked decent through the first couple weeks of the season, but has now regressed to its 2024 form. For Weeks 4 and 5, they rank 30th in defensive EPA/dropback. The Cowboys rank third in the NFL in offensive EPA/play this season and should move the ball with ease against Carolina. Dak Prescott should keep looking to his top red-zone target, getting George Pickens another touchdown.
Colts vs. Cardinals: Tyler Warren o51.5 Receiving Yards (-112)
Tyler Warren is having a strong start to his rookie season. He was somewhat controversially the second tight end taken in the NFL Draft after the Bears took Colston Loveland. Warren was a superstar at Penn State and fit the modern mold of a Travis Kelce-type pass-catcher. He has been a key part of this electric Colts offense, which ranks second in the NFL in offensive EPA/play. He ranks second on the team in target share behind only Michael Pittman Jr. Warren is averaging 4.6 catches and 61.4 receiving yards per game and should have a big outing against Arizona. The Cardinals have a stout run defense, ranking sixth in the NFL in defensive EPA/rush. However, they rank in the bottom half of the league in defensive EPA/dropback and defensive dropback success rate. The Colts should take a more pass-heavy approach than normal, which should take Warren over his receiving prop number.
Cardinals at Colts: Michael Carter o48.5 Rushing Yards (-110)
Michael Carter will spend another week as the primary back for the Cardinals. James Conner and Trey Benson remain out, making Carter the top ball carrier. He split touches with Emari Demercado last week, but Demercado had one of the most notable plays of that slate, albeit in a negative way. Demercado dropped what should have been a touchdown just before crossing the goal line, ultimately costing the Cardinals the game. Jonathan Gannon made an unnecessary apology this week for his reaction to Demercado’s actions. While he said he has worked things out with Demercado, there will undoubtedly be a lack of trust there. That should get Carter an even bigger share of touches than he had last time out. Even last week, Carter got over this number, rushing for 51 yards against Tennessee. The Colts rank dead-last in defensive rushing success rate, which should allow Carter to get over this number.
