Week 7 of the college football season has a great slate of Saturday games, headlined by an SEC matchup between No. 8 Alabama and No. 14 Missouri.

Germie Bernard has been a touchdown machine for Alabama this season. Bernard is one of the final holdovers from Kalen DeBoer’s national championship runner-up Washington team. He followed DeBoer to Alabama and was a fantastic partner for freshman sensation Ryan Williams last season. This year, Bernard has been the top performer in the Alabama offense. He leads the team with 25 receptions, 392 receiving yards, and five receiving touchdowns. He has six total touchdowns over his past four games — including a rushing TD against Wisconsin — and should find the end zone again in this huge SEC matchup against Missouri.
For a game this big, DeBoer and Ryan Grubb often try to reach deep into their bag. That often means Bernard will be used in unique ways. He is used in the screen game and can break free on his feet. Add that to him being a great route runner with tremendous speed and hands. Bernard should add to his large touchdown total with a score against Missouri.
Ahmad Hardy 100+ Rushing Yards (-102)
Ahmad Hardy has been one of the best running backs in college football this season. He ranks second in the nation in both rushing yards and rushing touchdowns so far in 2025. Hardy is a true sophomore who was an under-the-radar transfer from ULM last offseason. He has been sensational for the Tigers, giving great balance to an offense led by first-year starting quarterback Beau Pribula. Eli Drinkwitz has no problem feeding Hardy like a true workhorse back. Hardy has at least 22 carries in each of Missouri’s four games against FBS opponents. He has rushed for at least 100 yards in all five games played this season — a trend that should continue against Alabama. The Crimson Tide ranks 63rd in the nation in defensive EPA/rush and could allow Hardy to run wild. The Alabama offense is a terrifying opponent to face, so Coach Drinkwitz will want to feed his bell cow back to keep the ball out of Ty Simpson’s hands.
