The Falcons’ game plan is simple. They are going to run the ball. Then they will run it again. And again. That makes sense when you have arguably the most talented back in the league in Robinson, but the rushing attack doesn’t stop there. Allgeier hasn’t just carved out a solid role for himself; he’s quietly out-touching other starting RBs on a near-weekly basis.
The fourth-year back has seen 16 carries in two of Atlanta’s last three outings, finding the end zone in each of those contests. When Atlanta can establish the run and mix him in, good things happen. It also helps take some of the load off of Robinson and keep him fresh. Even with a snap share hovering around 30%, we should see a lot of Allgeier on Monday night, including his fair share of goal-line opportunities.
Khalil Shakir (+215)
What if I told you that, at 6’0, 190 pounds, Khalil Shakir is tied for the fourth-most red zone targets among receivers with seven. Meanwhile, former first-round contested catch aficionado Keon Coleman has only drawn four.
Shakir has picked up his efficiency over the last three weeks, averaging 10.6 yards per catch as Josh Allen’s de facto No. 1 receiver. More importantly, he’s also found the end zone twice over that span. Shakir only scored four times in the entirety of the 2024 campaign, making his increased role near the goal-line encouraging for future potential production.
The Falcons boast a tough secondary, there’s no way around that fact. However, Buffalo’s offense is high-powered enough to take any team down, and Shakir plays a significant role in those efforts. At +215, there’s plenty of value for him to score on Monday.
