We’re nearly a quarter into the NFL regular season. It may feel early, but health is already an issue across the league. Injuries are always unfortunate, but let’s look at things from a glass half full perspective. With so many stars sidelined, lesser-known players now have a chance to contribute. That plays to the advantage of opportunistic fantasy football managers. Which under-the-radar names should you be targeting on Sunday?
Here are three sleepers that could help you win a DraftKings DFS or season-long fantasy matchup.

Week 4 Fantasy Football Sleepers
WR Darnell Mooney, Atlanta Falcons ($4,700)
Few players inspire less reaction from casual fans than Darnell Mooney. In spite of his stellar 2024 campaign, the wideout wasn’t someone people were clamoring to get in fantasy drafts. Still, numbers don’t lie; Mooney remains a key piece in Atlanta’s offense. Even during Week 3’s 30-0 loss, the sixth-year pro garnered 11 targets from quarterback Michael Penix ($5,100). While he only managed to catch four passes, that level of usage is promising.
The Falcons will have a difficult task ahead of them this weekend. Jayden Daniels (knee) remains out, but the Commanders still wield a potent offense with backup Marcus Mariota ($5,000). That means the Dirty Birds can’t just run the ball on offense. Last weekend vs. Las Vegas, Washington’s defense honed in on stopping Jakobi Meyers ($5,400) and Brock Bowers ($5,800). A similar gameplan could be utilized on Sunday against Drake London ($5,700). If that occurs, there should be plenty of room for Mooney to operate. Atlanta’s second option in the passing game is poised for a breakthrough performance.
RB Woody Marks, Houston Texans ($4,400)
After a solid Week 1 showing, Nick Chubb ($5,100) appeared set as Houston’s lead back. However, the veteran has averaged just 40.5 rush yards during his previous two outings. That kind of production won’t do for a struggling Texans offense. If anyone else can emerge as a backfield contributor, it’s Woody Marks. The rookie already has advanced skills as a blocker and pass-catcher. That alone could earn him a valuable role as the team’s third-down back.
Last weekend vs. Jacksonville, Marks ran for 27 yards on six carries while hauling in one catch. However, the most promising stat was his 48% snap share. If a 50/50 split becomes a reality, the USC alum should see the field enough to make an impact. It helps that this week’s opponent, the Titans, are allowing the third-most fantasy points to opposing running backs. Houston’s RB2 won’t need many touches in order to provide value for fantasy managers.
TE David Njoku, Cleveland Browns ($3,800)
Despite upsetting the Packers, it was a disappointing Week 3 for Cleveland’s offense. The Browns only managed to record 221 total yards, needing a late field goal block to emerge victorious. Still, David Njoku managed to secure five catches for 40 yards (9.0 FPTS). It’s well known that the tight end has a strong bond with quarterback Joe Flacco ($4,700). However, that hasn’t been on display very often in 2025. This season, Njoku has notched 12 catches for 117 yards and zero touchdowns. In addition, talented rookie Harold Fannin Jr. ($3,700) has added extra competition in the passing game.
Those numbers, while mediocre, don’t tell the whole story. After all, Njoku has commanded a respectable 18 targets through three games. Sunday might provide a golden opportunity for the veteran. The Lions are an offensive juggernaut, having just put up 38 points on the Ravens. That means the Browns will likely have no choice but to pass the ball. If that occurs, Flacco should find some success over the middle of the field. Detroit is allowing the sixth-most fantasy points to opposing tight ends. Considering the lack of high-end options at TE, Njoku is a high-upside play that deserves consideration in most lineups.
