Whether your pick lost in Week 3 or you just didn’t get the chance to join a survivor pool, you can join this third-chance survivor pool. In this survivor pool, you need to pick a team to win straight-up every week. However, once you use a team, you cannot use it again. You are eliminated from the pool if one of your picks loses. The players who survive the regular season without losing will split the grand prize of at least $50,000.
Week 4 Strategy
Well, it only took three weeks, but I was knocked out of my survivor pool by picking the Packers over the Browns last week. It was a tough week for survivor pool players, with the Packers, Falcons and the Ravens all getting upset in Week 3. Hopefully, some of you survived, so I will continue to give my best picks and games to avoid for the rest of the season. So far this season, I have used the Packers, Broncos and Cardinals.

Week 4 Survivor Best Pick
Texans over Titans
It has been a disastrous start to the season for C.J. Stroud and the Texans, sitting at 0-3 after three weeks. The Texans have won the AFC South and a playoff game in both seasons since drafting Stroud, so this is an alarming start to the season. The Texans are missing their star running back, Joe Mixon, and wide receiver Tank Dell on offense. That being said, they have had a tough schedule to start the season. They faced two division winners from last season to start the 2025 season, losing one-possession games to the Buccaneers and Rams. Then, last week, they lost another one-possession game on the road against their division rivals in Jacksonville.
This is their big chance to get their season back on track against the 0-3 Titans. The Texans have one of the best defenses in the NFL. They ranked in the top five in defensive EPA/play last season, and they are tied for fifth in scoring defense so far this season. They should give rookie quarterback Cam Ward a tough time and create some havoc on defense. The Titans rank 30th in defensive EPA/play this season, so this is a great chance for Stroud to get his season on track. Stroud is 11-6 at home in his career, compared to 8-10 on the road, so this home game is the perfect chance to take Stroud and the Texans in survivor pools.
Week 4 Survivor Bold Pick
Rams over Colts
The Rams have looked good to start this season. They beat the Texans in a tough Week 1 matchup, then dominated the Titans in Week 2. Last week, they went toe-to-toe with the Eagles in Philadelphia but lost by having their game-winning field goal blocked as time expired. This is a well-coached team with strong pieces on both sides of the ball. They face another tough test in Week 4 against the red-hot Colts, but they are a strong alternative pick in survivor pools this week. The Colts have been great through three weeks, but their offense is bound to cool down as teams study the tape of their new-look offense. The Rams’ elite coaching staff could be the ones to crack the code and make Daniel Jones look more like he did in New York. The Rams’ offense should move the ball against the Colts and have a great chance to get the win at home.
Week 4 Survivor Favorite to Avoid
Broncos over Bengals
The Broncos have started this season 1-2 after making the playoffs last season in Bo Nix’s rookie year. Their lone win came against the Titans in Cam Ward’s first career start, but then they couldn’t pull out wins in close games against the Colts and Chargers. However, they are likely to be a popular survivor pool pick this week against the Bengals. Cincinnati looked terrible in Jake Browning’s first start against the Vikings in Week 3. While it was a rough game for Browning and the Bengals, they are likely to improve, as Browning has proven he can be a competent NFL quarterback. While the Broncos are one of the biggest favorites of Week 4, they are a team I am looking to avoid in survivor pools against the Bengals.
