The co-main event of Saturday’s UFC Fight Night in Paris, France, features a Lightweight bout between two top 15 contenders, Mauricio Ruffy vs. Benoit Saint Denis. Ruffy is 3-0 in the UFC while Saint Denis recently snapped his two-fight losing streak.
Check out my best bet for Mauricio Ruffy vs. Benoit Saint Denis at this week’s UFC Fight Night.
Mauricio Ruffy To Win By KO/TKO/DQ (+110)
The second of three France vs. Brazil matchups on this card is a matchup between two supremely talented fighters who are both 29 years old. Saint Denis is 6-3 in the UFC, while Ruffy is undefeated during his first two years with the promotion.
Ruffy comes from Brazil’s hottest new MMA gym, The Fighting Nerds. Some of their key fighters in the UFC are Carlos Prates, Jean Silva, and Caio Borralho, who is facing Nassourdine Imavov in the Main Event of this card. In Ruffy’s career, 11 of his 12 victories have come by knockout. Also, 10 of those knockouts came in the first round.
With two exciting finishers going toe-to-toe, this fight is unlikely to go the distance. On DraftKings Sportsbook, Ruffy is a -148 favorite, but the better play is to get him to win by KO/TKO/DQ at +110. Saint Denis is powerful in his own right, but has been knocked out twice in his previous three contests.
