Carlos Prates To Win By KO/TKO/DQ (+110)
Although Prates is coming off a loss, it was a short-notice fight against one of the best 170-pounders in the world. Before that defeat, Prates won 10 straight fights by knockout in the first or second round. He is one of the most lethal knockout artists in this division and has an excellent opportunity to showcase his incredible ability once again against Neal.
Neal is 3-4 in his previous seven contests and has slipped up recently when he has faced top rising contenders. His two most recent losses were against Shavkat Rakhmonov and Machado Garry.
At 6’1″ with a 78″ standing reach, Prates is in a perfect position to get back on track at UFC 319. Prates is usually quick and aggressive, but against Machado Garry, he was the opposite. When he doesn’t push the pace and is timid, it is hard for him to make an impact.
On DraftKings Sportsbook, Prates is a -245 favorite while Neal is the +200 betting underdog. Since Prates and Neal usually are accustomed to a finish, getting Prates at +110 to pick up the KO/TKO is a better play.
