Former top 15 UFC Bantamweight Bryce Mitchell returns three months after suffering a loss to Jean Silva. He is facing Said Nurmagomedov in a three-round 135-pound contest on the Prelims of UFC Abu Dhabi. The Prelims for this event begin at noon on ESPN and ESPN+.

Here is my best bet for Mitchell vs. Nurmagomedov at UFC Abu Dhabi.

Bryce Mitchell Moneyline (-142)

Mitchell has been in the UFC since 2019 and has lost three of his previous five bouts after having a five-fight win streak. Now we will see how Mitchell fares in the Bantamweight division. His opponent, Nurmagomedov, has struggled recently, losing two of his last three fights.

On DraftKings Sportsbook, Mitchell is a -142 favorite with Nurmagomedov being a +120 underdog.

This is a close matchup, but I give the edge to Mitchell due to being the more efficient fighter on the feet (59% vs. 47%), while averaging more takedowns (3.27 vs. 1.01) at a higher rate (36% vs. 15%) on the ground. Also, Nurmagomedov has been passive recently, which will allow Mitchell to gain confidence throughout the bout. Mitchell has all the skills to win this fight if he keeps Nurmagomedov at range while controlling the pace.
