What happened to Alek Thomas? Live injury updates for Diamondbacks vs. Padres Tuesday 7/8/25

Another day, another Diamondbacks injury. Just under an hour before Tuesday’s game against the Padres, OF Alek Thomas was scratched from the lineup due to right knee soreness and replaced by Randal Grichuk.

He has played in 80 games this season, recording 58 hits, 23 RBIs and five homers.
