The Florida Panthers can almost taste victory. Tonight’s bounce-back 5-2 victory over the Edmonton Oilers puts them one game away from taking a second straight Stanley Cup. It’s no surprise that Brad Marchand got the party going again.

Florida’s 37-year-old trade deadline acquisition netted two goals tonight. It also got goals from Sam Bennett, Sam Reinhart, and an empty-netter from Eetu Luostarinen.

The victory puts Florida up 3-2 in the series. It’ll have a chance to clinch a second straight Cup on home ice this Tuesday, 6/17/25. The Panthers open at -142 on the moneyline on the DraftKings Sportsbook. The over/under is set at 6.5 for this potential closeout game.
