The top two players in the world go head-to-head for a French Open title as Jannik Sinner takes on Carlos Alcaraz. These are the best bets to target on DraftKings Sportsbook for the match.
Jannik Sinner vs. Carlos Alcaraz prediction
This has been a historic French Open on both the men’s and women’s sides. The women’s singles final saw the top two women in the world, Aryna Sabalenka and Coco Gauff, go head to head. The second-ranked player in the world, Gauff, took down the World No. 1 in Sabalenka. Now, on the men’s side, the world’s top two men face off for the singles title. Top-ranked Jannik Sinner and second-ranked Carlos Alcaraz have been on a collision course all tournament, decimating everyone in their paths.
Sinner is yet to drop a set in the 2025 French Open, even against the great Novak Djokovic in the semifinals. Sinner has won each of the past two men’s singles Grand Slam titles, the 2025 Australian Open and the 2024 US Open. This would be his fourth Grand Slam title, but his first ever at Roland Garros. In fact, this is his first French Open Final that he has reached in his career. Sinner has never been a clay specialist, but he is hoping that his overall game will balance that out. Between winning the past two Grand Slam titles and the 2024 ATP Finals, Sinner has been untouchable in the biggest tournaments dating back to the 2024 US Open.
Carlos Alcaraz has been brilliant in this tournament as well. He has not required a fifth set yet and has faced a much tougher path to the final than Sinner. Djokovic is the only player in the top 15 in the world whom Sinner defeated along the way. Meanwhile, Alcaraz had to defeat three top-15 players to get this far. He has proven himself against players with different styles and is looking to cement himself as the new King of Clay. Since Rafael Nadal retired, there has been a space to be filled at Roland Garros. Alcaraz won the 2024 French Open, and if he makes it back-to-back titles this year, he can establish himself as the man to beat at Roland Garros moving forward.
Jannik Sinner vs. Carlos Alcaraz pick, best bet
Sinner and Alcaraz have faced each other 11 times, but this is the long-awaited first Grand Slam Final meeting between the two. Alcaraz has gotten the better of Sinner over the years. The Spaniard has won seven of the 11 matchups between the two, including all of the past four meetings. Most recently, the two met in the 2025 Italian Open Final, with Alcaraz winning that match in two sets. The last time they met in a Grand Slam was in the 2024 French Open semifinals, where Alcaraz was also victorious en route to his title. Alcaraz is now 2-1 on clay against Sinner, but this will be their biggest match yet.
My favorite bet for this match is the Carlos Alcaraz Moneyline. It is nearly a pick ’em between the world’s top two players, but Sinner has a small edge at -115 while Alcaraz is at -110. Sinner has been the best player in the world over the past 10 months, but Alcaraz is the superior player on clay. Alcaraz is also a better athlete than Sinner, and the extra second of time given to reach a ball on clay gives Alcaraz an extra boost. He should force Sinner to move up to the net where he is less comfortable. Meanwhile, Alcaraz can fly around the court and hit shots from everywhere. If he makes this match uncomfortable, he should throw Sinner off his game enough to win the key points and ultimately, the French Open Men’s Singles title.
