Francisco Lindor walks it off as Mets beat White Sox 2-1

With Monday’s game with the White Sox tied 1-1 in the 9th inning with no outs and the bases loaded, Francisco Lindor had a great opportunity to have a walk-off hit and win the game for New York. A sacrifice fly isn’t the prettiest way to win a game, but a win is a win. Lindor hit one into right field with his first swing and won the game for the Mets. New York is now 33-21 this season and they have won three straight games.

Lindor didn’t have his best game on Monday but showed up when it mattered most. He finished with just that hit and an RBI in four at-bats. These two teams will match up again in Queens on Tuesday, with the Mets opening as huge -265 moneyline favorites on DraftKings Sportsbook with the total set at 8.
