With a 30-19 record, the Los Angeles Dodgers still sit atop the NL West, though several other National League teams are right there with L.A. vying for the most wins on the season so far.
Tonight, the Dodgers host the division-rival Arizona Diamondbacks to round out the MLB’s late slate. DraftKings Sportsbook lists Los Angeles as -142 favorites to win on the Moneyline with the game total set at nine combined runs.
Here’s the top Mookie Betts prop bet for Dodgers vs. Diamondbacks on Wednesday night.
Mookie Betts 2+ Hits (+265)
Betts’ season hasn’t been the most impressive of his storied career, but he’s still putting up some good numbers. The 32-year-old’s slash line reads .261/.347/.438 with 46 hits, 30 RBIs, and eight home runs on the year so far.
Tonight’s pitching matchup looks a bit intimidating with Corbin Burnes’ 2.56 ERA and 1.25 WHIP, but the veteran certainly isn’t unhittable. Betts has 12 career at-bats against Burnes with three hits, one RBI, and two strikeouts in that sample.
To top it off, Betts is batting significantly better against right-handed pitchers this season with a .278 AVG, .351 OBP, and .459 SLG in 133 at-bats. Notably, 23 of his 37 RBIs and six of his eight home runs have come against right-handers, so Betts shouldn’t have too much trouble tonight.
With all that said, I actually like Betts to record 2+ hits tonight. He’s done so in four of six matchups against the Diamondbacks so far this season, so at +265 odds, there’s great value to scoop up here if the trend continues.
