What happened to Ramon Laureano? Live injury updates for Orioles vs. Brewers 5/20/25

Outfielder Ramon Laureano left Tuesday night’s game against the Milwaukee Brewers due to an apparent ankle injury.

The Baltimore Oriole attempted to make a sliding catch during the bottom of the fourth inning, but appeared to get caught on the outfield grass and tumbled to the ground. He did stay in the game for an inning, but exited shortly after due to left ankle discomfort, per the team.

The 30-year-old has been a relative bright spot among a miserable 15-31 campaign. With a slash line of .266/.320/.532, Laureano’s offensive production marks some of the best among his team at the moment. He also boasts six home runs, 11 RBI and an .852 OPS across his 94 at-bats.

If Laureano misses time due to injury, his presence will certainly be missed on an Orioles team which needs all the help it can get as they fight to save their season from falling too far out of hand.
