After the first two rounds of the Truist Championship, the field was looking up at Keith Mitchell ($7,400; 95 FPTS), who led by one stroke lead heading into the weekend.
In the $750K Sand Trap tournament, Mitchell was rostered on 9.49% of teams.
DraftKings Sportsbook had Mitchell as the favorite at +320.
After Saturday, it was Sepp Straka ($8,700; 128.5 FPTS) and Shane Lowry ($8,500; 103 FPTS) who were tied for the lead. Straka was rostered on 10.96% of teams while Lowry was on 13.66%.
After Sunday’s final round, it was Straka who bested the field by two strokes to claim the crown with a 2-under (68). He eagled Hole 5 but gave back a stroke with a bogey on the next hole. Straka then closed out the front nine with two birdies. The back nine did not start well with two straight bogeys, but he got a stroke back with a birdie four holes later then cruised for his fourth PGA Tour victory.
The most rostered golfer was Rory McIlroy ($12,000; 94.5 FPTS) at 34.59%.
McIlroy was consistent all tournament, going 66, 67 and 69 through three rounds. On Sunday, he went 2-under (68) with an unblemished round, but he only mustered two birdies. McIlroy finished six strokes off the lead.
There were two other golfers rostered on at least 20% of teams:
Justin Thomas ($10,000; 108 FPTS) was at 24.42%. Thomas finished T2, two strokes behind Straka. Thomas went 66, 67, 66 and 67 for the tournament.
Xander Schauffele ($10,200; 81.5 FPTS) was at 20.54%. Schauffele shot 67, 69, 69 and 66 for the tournament.
