The second major tournament of the 2024 season brings the best golfers in the world to Valhalla Golf Club in Louisville, Kentucky this week. The PGA Championship will run from Thursday, May 16 through Sunday, May 19 as Brooks Koepka looks to defend his 2023 title and get his fourth PGA Championship win.
Rory McIlroy is expected to be heavily in play, as well — he won the tournament the last time it was at Valhalla in 2014. And of course, recent new dad and Masters winner Scottie Scheffler enters as the favorite. The rumor mill has reported that Scheffler’s wife Meredith gave birth to their first child, although the golfer himself has yet to publicly confirm it.
Scheffler is installed at +400 to win the PGA Championship at DraftKings Sportsbook. He has yet to win a non-Masters major, but has been nearly unbeatable as of late. McIlroy, who won the Wells Fargo last week, comes in at +750, and Koepka enters at +1400 alongside Xander Schauffele.
