The Tiger Woods-designed El Cardonal at Diamante (par 72, 7,452 yards, paspalum greens) in Cabo San Lucas is hosting the World Wide Technology Championship for the fourth year in a row. Ben Griffin (-29) is the defending champion after winning by two strokes a year ago. There are 120 players competing, and a top-65 and ties cut after the first two rounds this week.
Below, I have featured my two favorite bets for the World Wide Technology Championship on DraftKings Sportsbook.
Best Bets for the 2026 World Wide Technology Championship
Harry Hall for a top-20 finish including ties (+132)
Hall has been great recently, finishing T5th, T24th, T13th, and T23rd in his last four starts. The Englishman has shot 69 or better in all but one of these 16 rounds, and Hall gained strokes on approach and with his putter at all four of these events.
It’s no coincidence Hall is playing well right now. The veteran currently sits 60th in the FedEx Fall standings, and only No.51-60 following the fall swing that ends in three weeks with the RSM Classic will earn invites to next year’s AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am and Genesis Invitational, both of which are Signature Events that feature purses of $20 million.
Hall certainly has this on his mind, and he is an excellent bet to finish inside the top-20 at El Cardonal. Hall finished T14th in his last visit to this venue two years ago, and in his 11 career starts at courses with paspalum greens, Hall has generated four top-20 finishes.
Tom Hoge for a top-30 finish (+225)
Hoge has finished inside the top-40 at 11 events this season, most recently with a T6 finish at the Butterfield Bermuda Championship two weeks ago. This is tied for his best finish of the season, and Hoge gained strokes on approach and with his putter at Port Royal GC.
The veteran ranked 10th in SG APP for the event, and he ranks 37th in the metric this season. Hoge flourishing in Bermuda is on brand for the veteran, as he has thrived at coastal courses in the past, most notably with a two-shot win at the 2022 AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am.
Furthermore, Hoge finished T21st at El Cardonal last year while shooting 67 or lower in 3-of-4 rounds. The 37-year-old should excel at this seaside par 72 again this week, and he is an awesome bet for a top-30 finish at this appealing +225 price.
