The second round of the 2024 NBA Playoffs will continue on Sunday and the slate will close with the Denver Nuggets visiting the Minnesota Timberwolves for Game 4 of their best-of-seven series. Tipoff for this Western Conference showdown is set for 8 p.m. ET and the game will air on TNT.
Here’s a look at some of our favorite player prop bets to target for Game 4 Sunday, with odds courtesy of DraftKings Sportsbook.
Nikola Jokic over 8.5 assists (+100)
Denver had a much better offensive showing in its Game 3 victory on Friday and to no surprise, Jokic was the nucleus of that dominant win. The now three-time MVP delivered nine assists in the win and has averaged 8.7 dimes throughout the series. He came up just short of notching a triple-double and I think that he’ll get one in a critical game like this one. I’ll say he gets to double-digits in assists.
Rudy Gobert under 1.5 blocks (+136)
Gobert didn’t make much of an impact in his return in Game 3, producing just six points, four rebounds, and notably, zero blocks. I expect the Defensive Player of the Year to have a bigger impact in this matchup, but I’ll say that he gets just one block in the contest and take the under.
Naz Reid over 10.5 points (+105)
To no surprise, Reid has played a huge role off the bench for the Timberwolves and is a huge reason why the team is up 2-1 in the series. The Sixth Man of the Year logged an average of 24.3 minutes through the first three games and is putting up 12.3 ppg as a result. That includes a seven-point performance in Game 3 where the team opted to empty its bench once the game was already out of reach. I expect a more competitive matchup tonight and for Reid to easily get to 11+ points.
Christian Braun over 0.5 threes (+180)
Braun has poked his head in for the Nuggets off the bench, averaging 15.3 minutes through the first three games of this series. He hasn’t been much of a scoring threat, but he has gone 3-5 from three. I’ll predict that he comes in and buries at least one from downtown in tonight’s contest.
