There was no deja vu on Monday, though, as the Pistons staved off another comeback to tie the series with the 100-94 victory.

Jalen Brunson ($8,300; 54.25 FPTS) was fantastic for New York, finishing with 37 points, three rebounds, seven assists and two steals in 44 minutes. He shot 12-of-27 from the field, 4-of-12 from downtown and 9-of-11 from the line.

Unfortunately, Karl-Anthony Towns ($9,300; 19.5 FPTS) had a night to forget, going for 10 points, six rebounds and a block, good for only 19.5 FPTS. He shot 5-of-11 from the field, 0-for-2 from downtown and did not attempt a free throw. Detroit mainly had Tobias Harris guarding him.

Mikal Bridges ($5,700; 32.25 FPTS) contributed 19 points, five rebounds and three steals, good for 32.25 FPTS. Unfortunately, down the stretch, he missed four shots – one layup and three treys.

For Detroit, Cade Cunningham ($9,100; 56 FPTS) was spectacular, leading the Pistons with 33 points, 12 rebounds, three assists and two steals in 42 minutes. He shot 11-of-21 from the field, 1-of-4 from downtown and 10-of-12 from the line.

Jalen Duren ($6,100; 39.75 FPTS) had 12 points, 13 rebounds, two assists, three blocks and a steal.

Tobias Harris ($6,200; 36.25 FPTS) contributed 15 points, 13 rebounds, an assist and a steal in a team-leading 43 minutes. Harris may have been the MVP of the game due to his contributions on defense against Towns.

Dennis Schroder ($4,000; 27.5 FPTS) had 20 points, two rebounds and three assists. He had some clutch buckets in the fourth, especially this three-pointer with the game tied at 94-94. .
