Right now, it doesn’t feel like the San Diego Padres or Fernando Tatis Jr. can be stopped.
The star outfielder fueled a 10-4 victory last night by blasting two home runs. San Diego moved to 11-0 at home this season, an incredible start on home turf. Even for the Cubs, who torched the Dodgers in their last series, the Friars may prove too much.
Luckily for Chicago, Shota Imanaga is on the mound to try and stop the bleeding. The 31-year-old right-hander dazzled last year and is off to a repeat start. Does he have enough juice to lock down the Padres? Or will Tatis and San Diego roll yet again?
Onย DraftKings Sportsbook, San Diego is the home underdog at +130, and the run total is set at eight. Below, I’ve highlighted my favorite Tatis prop bet for this contest.

2+ Hits Recorded (+240)
Spoiler alert: Nobody is stopping this guy right now.
Imanaga is a great pitcher, don’t get me wrong. But the left-right matchup doesn’t favor him in the slightest. Tatis is 2-for-5 lifetime against Shota to emphasize the point.
Even if he had good career numbers, I’d be rolling with Tatis. The 26-year-old is batting .361 in the young season and is tied for the league lead in home runs going into today’s slate. Eight multi-hit games in 16 contests is absurd.
I’m taking Tatis to record another multi-hit contest and sprinkling on the Padres moneyline as home underdogs. Even though the Cubs have a major leg up in the pitching battle, an 11-0 home team at plus money speaks to me.
