Guard

Stud

Cade Cunningham, Detroit Pistons at Milwaukee Bucks ($10,500) — This is the silliest DFS day of the year. Momentum has been building. The wave crests on Sunday. The injury report is a book. The list is long. As of now, Cunningham is playing. Milwaukee will rest its starters on Sunday.

Other Options — Payton Pritchard ($7,000)

Value

Craig Porter Jr., Cleveland Cavaliers vs. Indiana Pacers ($3,100) — It’s “Super Scrub Sunday!” The stars are in plain clothes sitting courtside. Porter isn’t starting, but he’ll play 20 to 30 minutes and lead the Cavs’ second unit. His 20-point projection is safe.

Other Options — Jaime Jaquez Jr. ($3,500)

Forward

Stud

Coby White, Chicago Bulls at Philadelphia 76ers ($8,900) — Everyone is out. White is the last man standing. Most of Sunday’s meaningful games are out west. The later start pushed those games off this slate. The Eastern Conference is settled. It looks like White will suit up. He doesn’t have an injury designation. The Bulls are hot and they’re playing Philadelphia’s G-League team.

Other Options — Justin Champagnie ($5,500)

Value

Jarace Walker, Indiana Pacers at Cleveland Cavaliers ($3,300) — There’s at least 10 players at every position that cost less than $4,000 and can hit 10x value. More important than stats and picks is strategy. The first NBA DFS tip for Sunday is leave money on the table. It’s hard to spend it all today. Just pick the players with the most projected minutes. A lot of the scrubs on the slate are suiting up for their first sizable sample of action. Walker’s been getting some run for some time. He scored 32 DKFP as a starter against a quality Orlando Magic defense on April 11.

Other Options — Jaylon Tyson ($3,000)

Center

Stud

Jalen Duren, Detroit Pistons at Milwaukee Bucks ($7,200) — It appears that Detroit is letting its starters play. Stars are in short supply on Sunday. Duren may not stand out. He’s not really a star, there just isn’t anyone else. He provides a steady 40 DKFP on a day filled with unknowns.

Other Options — Nikola Vucevic ($8,400)

Value

Nae’Qwan Tomlin, Cleveland Cavaliers vs. Indiana Pacers ($3,000) — Matchups matter but they don’t. No one knows who is playing and how motivated they will be. The projected scores for each game on the slate are about the same. There isn’t a game that screams “must-play.” It’s possible that home teams try to put on a show for the fans that purchased the worst ticket in sports. The projection sites like Tomlin. This will be his first-ever NBA game. He’ll be motivated and his teammates could be deferential.

Other Options — Mouhamed Gueye ($3,400)
