Former flyweight champion No. 2 Brandon Moreno faces Steve Erceg in Mexico City on Saturday, March 29. An exciting lightweight bout is in the co-main event, as Drew Dober takes on rising star Manuel Torres. Can Moreno win his second straight fight and make another run at the championship, or will Erceg get back in the win column?

Brandon Moreno to Win by KO/TKO/DQ or Submission (+240)
Although Moreno’s latest win came via unanimous decision, his previous four wins before that were by finish. Moreno is 22-8-2 in his MMA career with 16 finishes. Although Moreno is No. 2 in the flyweight division, his last two losses were against Alexandre Pantoja and Brandon Royval. Pantoja and Royval are both right ahead of Moreno in the rankings.
Moreno is the favorite at -250 on DraftKings Sportsbook while Erceg is +205. A win is needed for Moreno to earn another title opportunity, but if he wants to jump Royval in the rankings, style points will be necessary. After Erceg suffered two losses, a plan to beat him was previously shown. If Moreno pushes the pace and provides a higher output than Erceg, he will be in a good spot to get the finish.
Drew Dober Moneyline (-110)
Dober is in a must-win situation after losing three of his last four fights. He is coming off a loss to Jean Silva, who is a rising star in the sport. Dober is used to facing prospects entering the division, and it continues when he fights Manuel Torres Saturday night. Although Torres is 15-3 in his MMA career, his resume features four UFC fights. Dober has a vast experience gap in the UFC Octagon, as this is Dober’s 23rd fight in the promotion.
You can get Dober to win this bout at -110 on DraftKings Sportsbook. On paper, Torres is the more efficient striker, landing more significant strikes, but his sample size is much smaller than Dober’s. At 36 years old, Dober must show that he is still a capable UFC fighter if he wants to keep having big fights in the future.
