The penultimate regular season slate occurs tonight, and there’s still plenty to play for.
One of the earlier marquee matchups on this slate is 76ers vs. Magic, which will take place in Philadelphia at 7:00 p.m. ET. The full postseason tiebreaker analysis is complicated, but the loser of this game will likely end up in the Play-In Tournament, with the winner avoiding it.
In this article, I’m going to break down my favorite NBA player props on DraftKings Sportsbook for Friday’s Magic-Sixers game. Without further ado, let’s get into it.

Philadelphia 76ers vs. Orlando Magic
Joel Embiid 30+ Points (-155) and Joel Embiid Over 1.5 Threes (+130)
As of 2:30 p.m. ET, Embiid is listed as questionable for tonight’s contest. That said, considering the seeding implications I laid out above, I would be stunned if he doesn’t suit up.
The reigning MVP is still working his way back into playing shape, but he’s steadily improved, racking up at least 30 points in back-to-back games on over 50% shooting from the field. I’m highlighting both his alternate points total and three pointers prop in order to provide one option with a “safer” floor, and one with more variance in terms of results.
However, while over 1.5 threes does certainly come with more variance, the big man has been lights out from beyond the arc since returning from injury. Over his last three games, Embiid has shot 9-17 (53%) from long range, bumping both his efficiency and volume. The star center is in the midst of his best three-point shooting campaign yet, and he clearly feels comfortable firing away at the moment.
Assuming Embiid does play tonight, I’m expecting him to receive his normal workload and continue to shoot the three at will.
