Michigan State vs. Oregon (noon ET)
Although the Spartans beat the Ducks this season, all Oregon has done since then is win. Oregon has won its previous eight games and is one of the hottest teams in college basketball. Michigan State has had a tremendous season, going 26-5 and finishing first in the regular season in the Big Ten.
Michigan State is on a seven-game win streak and hasn’t lost since falling short to Indiana on February 11. Jase Richardson, the Spartans’ second-leading scorer, has taken his game up a notch in the last month. Richardson has scored 15-plus points five times in the previous nine contests and has three 20-point performances in that span as well.
Although Oregon center Nate Bittle only finished with seven points and eight rebounds against Indiana, it is unlikely that he will have two disappointing games in a row. In the previous five games, Bittle had three games with 21 or more points. If Bittle has an elite showing and Jackson Shelstad and Keeshawn Barthelemy can slow down Richardson, Oregon has a good chance to win this game. Oregon is +5.5 on DraftKings Sportsbook, which is higher than expected, given the Ducks’ recent success.
College Basketball Pick: Oregon +5.5
