College Basketball Best Bets: Pick for Auburn vs. Texas A&M on Tuesday 3/4/25

In a year of chaos, the Auburn Tigers have dominated and stayed at the top of the AP Top 25. They are No. 1 and have only lost two games this season. Auburn is on a six-game winning streak and has won 20 of their previous 21 games. A massive reason for their success has been their star F Johni Broome. Right now on DraftKings Sportsbook, Broome is +140 to win the Wooden Award while Cooper Flagg is the favorite at -180.

Here’s a college basketball pick for Tuesday’s big game between Auburn and Texas A&M.

Auburn at Texas A&M (9:00 p.m. ET)

Broome is averaging 18.4 points, 10.8 rebounds and 2.4 blocks per game this season. During the last 10 games, Broome scored double digits in each game, but only totaled nine points and six rebounds against Kentucky on March 1. He hasn’t had back-to-back games with under 10 points this season.

Although the Aggies are No. 22 in the rankings, they are 20-9 this season and have lost their last four games. In three of those, Texas A&M lost by double digits. The Aggies have lost their previous four games against top 10 teams. Texas A&M has beaten Auburn four of their last five matchups in College Station.

Considering how each team has been playing lately, it is an excellent play to get Auburn at -4.5 on DraftKings Sportsbook. Even with a superstar in Broome, Auburn has shown they are a well-versed, deep team. The Tigers have six players averaging double-digit points this season. With Texas A&M’s top scorer Wade Taylor IV struggling lately, it will be hard for them to compete with Auburn’s elite offense. Taylor has scored 12 or fewer points in three of the past six games.

College Basketball Pick: Auburn -4.5
