The 4 Nations Face-Off Final has arrived and the hockey gods have blessed us with the best possible matchup––USA vs. Canada. The Americans already beat the Canadians, 3-1, on Saturday, but I have a strong feeling this game is going to come down to the wire. Canada is a slight favorite on the Moneyline and the game total is set at 0/U 5.5 goals on DraftKings Sportsbook.

We are not going to fade Connor McDavid. It is as simple as that. He is the best hockey player on the planet and all of Canada’s offense will flow through him. He scored a goal in each of the past two 4 Nations games against the United States and Finland and will be funneling shots towards the net. The last matchup featured three fights and both Matthew and Brady Tkachuk should be out there setting the tone. Penalties will likely be called and Canada’s powerplay unit is filled with generational playmakers. This is essentially a Game 7 in the Stanley Cup Finals and McDavid will be the best player on the ice.
Jack Hughes Anytime Goalscorer (+310)
Jack Hughes has yet to score in the 4 Nations Face-Off tournament but has still averaged 5.6 shot attempts per game. He’s coming off a five-shot game against Sweden and should continue to share the first line with Auston Matthews and Jake Guentzel. Hughes particularly struggled against Canada and was noticeably out-toughed at times but I’m willing to bet he comes out with a bit more fire this time. Jordan Binnington has made big saves but still sports an unimpressive .892 save percentage and 2.60 GAA. He frequently lets in weak goals and allowed a weak one to Guentzel on Saturday. Hughes is more than capable of finding the back of the net in a big game against a leaky goaltender and has logged the fourth-highest time on ice among US forwards, so the opportunity is there.
