The Clippers are hosting their inner city rivals, the Lakers, on Tuesday. On DraftKings Sportsbook, the Clippers are favored by 8.5 points and this game presents a total of 221 points.

Below, I have featured my favorite James Harden prop bet to consider from this contest.

James Harden Over 9.5 Assists (+110)

At this +110 price, Harden is an awesome bet for this over. Kawhi Leonard is currently healthy for the Clippers and having the two-time NBA Finals MVP available has helped Harden in the assist department.

These two stars have played 10 games together this season and Harden is averaging 10.6 assists per game in those tilts with a 39.1% assist rate, which is a 2.8 percentage point upgrade from his average. Harden has racked up double-digit assists in seven of those 10 games with Leonard and, despite the wing being inactive, Harden posted 12 assists vs. the Lakers two weeks ago.

The Lakers are now without their defensive cornerstone in Anthony Davis, who they just traded to the Mavericks in the blockbuster deal to land Luka Doncic. The Lakers’ defensive rating has been nearly two points worse with Davis off the floor this season and the Clippers are an 8.5-point home favorite over the Lakers tonight. Harden is averaging 2.1 more assists in wins than losses this season and he has dished out at least 10 assists in eight of the Clippers’ last 10 victories.
