NBA Props: Best Karl-Anthony Towns bet for Knicks vs. Raptors

The Knicks are heading into Toronto tonight to take on the Raptors. Toronto finds itself as a 5.5-point home underdog on DraftKings Sportsbook with the game total set at O/U 228.5 points. The Raptors have the rest advantage and have won eight of their last 10 games but the Knicks are just as hot, winning seven of their last 10 games. New York has also won all three meetings versus Toronto this season.

Below, I broke down my favorite Karl-Anthony Towns prop bet that you should consider tailing and/or adding to your parlays for tonight’s NBA betting card.

Best Karl-Anthony Towns Prop Bet on DraftKings Sportsbook

Karl-Anthony Towns Over 37.5 Points + Rebounds (-105)

While Jalen Brunson is coming off a 42-point game in which he garnered a 41.4% usage rate, I think this will be a big Karl-Anthony Towns game. First, KAT has cleared this line in all three meetings versus the Raptors this season. Toronto’s defensive game plan for Brunson has worked in those three meetings while Jakob Poeltl has struggled to keep up with Towns. As a team, the Raptors allow the 11th-most points and rebounds per game to opposing centers this season.

It is worth noting that KAT has failed to clear this mark in five straight games. All five of those games were at home, though, and he averages 2.0 more points and 1.3 more rebounds per game when playing on the road. That said, he has totaled 38 Points + Rebounds in 14 of 22 road games this season, including eight of the last 10. For the rest advantage truthers, KAT has also cleared this line in five of six games with zero rest days and in all three road scenarios. He has scored 24+ points in all three matchups and Poeltl’s lack of athleticism suggests another strong scoring output is coming. If KAT reaches this 24-point threshold, he’d need 14 rebounds––something he has done in seven of the last 10 and four of the last five road games.
