The Timberwolves are on a four-game win streak as they look to climb from the play-in to the playoffs.
Anthony Edwards has been the catalyst for the offense all season amid a rocky campaign with new teammates. He’s coming off a 33-point performance on the road against the Suns last night.
The second leg of this back-to-back is a road matchup against the Jazz. Utah is 10-35 this season and sits in last place in the Western Conference.
Minnesota is a seven-point favorite tonight and the game total is set at 224.5 on DraftKings Sportsbook.
Below, I have featured my favorite Edwards prop bets to consider from this contest.
Best Anthony Edwards Prop Bets on DraftKings Sportsbook
Anthony Edwards under 5.5 rebounds (+100)
Edwards’ points prop is always tempting, especially against a porous defense like Utah. However, the 23-year-old has only hit his 28.5 points over in every other game for the past nine outings. It’s not as consistent as one would like, especially on a back-to-back tonight.
Instead, his rebounding has been far more consistent. Edwards has kept his rebounding numbers low for the past six games, clearing the over 5.5 line once.
Tonight is expected to be another tough rebounding night for Edwards. The Jazz rank ninth in the league in rebounding per game and sixth in opponents’ rebounds per game. It’s one of few strengths the team has amid a tanking season.
Edwards is averaging 5.7 rebounds per game this season, but that’s dipped to 4.2 in the past six games. On the second night of a back-to-back and against a good rebounding team, the under is in good position to hit once again.
Anthony Edwards over 28.5 points (-110)
This is definitely a secondary bet, but it’s worth noting the trend lately. Edwards has hit the over for 28.5 points in every other game for the past nine contests.
It’s not ideal that his points are fluctuating, but he has a good opportunity to hit the over tonight. The Jazz are one of the worst teams in the NBA. They’re just 10-35, which is last in the Western Conference and 29th overall. They allow the third most points per game and have the second worst defensive efficiency.
The Jazz are on a seven-game losing streak and are playing at home. Utah is 3-16 at home compared to 7-19 on the road.
Edwards’ points prop is definitely a riskier bet than his rebounds, but it’s worth considering given the matchup and his ability to score at ease on any given night.
