The Knicks’ No. 1 option was ultra efficient on high shooting volume, pouring in 14 of 22 attempts for 38 points. Brunson’s KOTC campaign was aided by a solid five rebounds and four assists, which was enough to give him the slight edge over Mark Williams for the title.
Brunson’s performance propelled New York to an overtime win over the 76ers, pushing the Knicks even closer to Boston for the No. 2 seed in the East.
