The Eastern Conference Finals kick off Tuesday night!
The Celtics took care of business against Cleveland, cruising to the ECF in five games. It was much more difficult to reach this point for the Pacers, who battled back from a 3-2 series deficit to win Game 7 on Sunday against the Knicks. Now, all eyes turn to TD Garden tonight for the opening matchup of this series.
In this article, I’m going to break down my favorite NBA player prop on DraftKings Sportsbook for Game 1 of Celtics-Pacers. Without further ado, let’s get into it.

Boston Celtics vs. Indiana Pacers — Game 1
H2H Points: Derrick White ML vs. Myles Turner (-120)
We’re rolling with an intriguing head-to-head prop for tonight’s contest.
Contrary to the image above, Derrick White and Myles Turner will likely not guard each other at all outside of switches throughout this series. As a result, we’re looking at how each player matches up against the other team, which favors White.
The Celtics have done an excellent job of keeping Myles Turner in check throughout the course of his career outside of a few big performances. Over 29 games against Boston, Turner has averaged just 13.5 points. In this series, Indiana’s big man will draw Al Horford, who is still a fantastic defender at 37 years old. When Horford takes a seat, Joe Mazzulla will likely go to Luke Kornet, who causes problems of his own at 7’1.
On the other side of this matchup, White has only averaged 13 points per game against the Pacers in his career, but in a significantly smaller sample size with much more favorable results since his move to Boston. The versatile guard has outscored Turner in three of their last five meetings, including an impressive 24-point outing in their last regular-season matchup.
Turner’s scoring floor may be a bit higher thanks to his efficiency, but he took more than 12 shots just twice in seven games against the Knicks. When White is in rhythm, he tends to see a much larger uptick in volume. I expect that to be the case again tonight after a strong close for him last round against Cleveland.
That’s my favorite NBA player prop for Pacers at Celtics! Stay tuned for more picks later this week.
