Although the San Antonio Spurs have lost three of their previous four games, they have shown much improvement. The Spurs are 16-16 this season and will face the 19-13 Los Angeles Clippers at 7:00 p.m. ET tonight.
The Spurs’ best player, Victor Wembanyama, continues to improve each month in the NBA. He’s averaging 25.5 points, 10 rebounds, four blocks, and 3.8 assists per game this season. Here is my favorite prop bet for Victor Wembanyama against the Clippers tonight.

Wembanyama has scored 26 or more points in 12 of the 27 games he has appeared in this year. But in December, he hit that mark in seven of the last 11 games and five of six. He’s averaging 28.6 points per contest this month, nearly three more than in November.
He is -110 on DraftKings Sportsbook to hit his scoring total against the Clippers tonight. This season, Wemby is averaging 19.1 field goal attempts per game. In the last three games, Wemby has had 30 or more field goal attempts twice. A big part of his development has been his improved three-point shot. He’s shooting 38.9 percent on threes this month.
In their first matchup against the Clippers this season, Wemby had 24 points, 13 rebounds and nine blocks. That was the seventh game of the year and it seems like Wemby has turned the corner with his offensive game. Wembanyama is sixth in scoring this month and has increased his average each month of the season.
The Spurs second-leading scorer, Devin Vassell, is averaging 15.8 points a game, about 10 fewer than Wemby. Wembanyama has the eighth-highest usage rating (31.8) in the NBA. That number has increased to 34.3 in the last week. The Spurs continue to make it a priority to make Wemby’s workload higher by the week.
