Best Rachaad White props for Buccaneers vs. Cowboys on Sunday Night Football

The final matchup of the Week 16 NFL Sunday slate will take place between the Dallas Cowboys and Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

These teams enter with opposite outlooks on the season. The Tampa Bay Buccaneers control their playoff destiny and sit in first place in the NFC South. However, the Falcons entered the day just one game behind them and received an organizational spark following the quarterback change. They have put themselves in a nice spot, but Tampa Bay needs to deliver from here on out.

The Buccaneers have a great opportunity to do so against a 6-8 Dallas Cowboys team that has seen their season go up in flames. Dak Prescott was shut down for the season after Week 8 and the Cowboys were just 3-4 at that point. While their goals for the season are already lost, the team is still identifying who will be a part of it moving forward.

Rachaad White has seen his role in the Buccaneers’ offense grow as the season has progressed. He has tallied double-digit carries in each of the past five games and produced a season-best performance of 17 carries for 90 yards and a touchdown just two weeks ago. He will look to carry this momentum into the Sunday Night matchup.

The Buccaneers enter this game as 4-point favorites and -205 on the moneyline. The Cowboys are +170 underdogs on the moneyline on DraftKings Sportsbook and the game total is set at 47.5 points.

Rachaad White Prop Bets

DraftKings Sportsbook has Rachaad White’s props set at o/u 42.5 rushing yards, 16.5 receiving yards, 2.5 receptions, 63.5 rushing and receiving yards, and +125 odds of an anytime touchdown.

The Pick: Over 42.5 Rushing Yards

So far this season Rachaad White has carried the ball 135 times for 573 yards and three touchdowns. He also has made an impact in the passing attack, recording 43 receptions for 339 yards and six receiving touchdowns.

Bucky Irving has also made a notable impact in the offensive attack and is the biggest threat to White’s touches. Looking at his season output, Irving has carried the ball 152 times for 852 yards and six touchdowns. He also has added 38 receptions for 296 yards.

Expect both running backs to make an impact in this matchup. Looking at the Cowboys’ defense, they rank 30th in points allowed and 26th in total yards given up. They have especially struggled to stop the run, ranking 29th in rushing yards allowed, 32nd in rushing touchdowns conceded, and 29th in net yards per rush attempt.

Tampa Bay possesses a high-powered offense that ranks fourth in the league in scoring and third in total yards. This game carries some legitimate blowout potential with the Cowboys’ season looking lost and the Buccaneers in need of a win. If the Buccaneers can build an early lead they will be perfectly comfortable running the ball and bleeding out the clock which will positively impact both running backs.

White is averaging 44.1 rushing yards per game and has recorded over 42.5 rushing yards in five games this season including three consecutive games leading into this matchup. Both White and Irving received 15 carries last week and White has logged 51% of offensive snaps or greater in all but one game this season.

The 42.5 rushing-yard line is too low based on his recent success and the potential for this game to turn into a blowout. Expect him to see plenty of opportunity and for White to eclipse this number for the fourth consecutive week.
