McConkey is averaging 54.7 receiving yards per game and has tallied at least two receptions and 26 yards in every game. He had his best statistical performance in Week 8 against the Saints, recording six receptions for 111 yards and two touchdowns.

The Chargers have been more comfortable attacking through the air in recent weeks. Justin Herbert was limited to 179 or fewer passing yards in each of the first four weeks but has tallied 237 or more in five of the last six games. While the defense and running game remain the identity of the team, the effectiveness of the passing game has improved and McConkey has been a key part of this.
Ladd McConkey has recorded over 56.5 receiving yards in two of the past three weeks and has been targeted at least six times in six of the last seven weeks. Herbert has gained more trust in the rookie as the season has progressed and the porous Bengals defense provides a great chance for him to add to his statistical output. He possesses some big play ability and can break free for a massive gain if the opportunity presents itself and is in line for a large target share. Count on McConkey to continue building off his strong start to the season and be heavily involved in this game.
