There was a concern that Davante Adams’ arrival in New York would hurt Garrett Wilson’s numbers but it is clear that Wilson is still Aaron Rodgers’ top target. In fact, Wilson has had arguably his two best games of the season the past two weeks with Adams lining up next to him. Wilson had nine catches for 90 yards and two touchdowns last week including his incredible acrobatic touchdown. The week before, he had a season-high 113 receiving yards against the Patriots.
Wilson should have another productive day against Arizona. The Cardinals’ defense is 28th in the NFL in EPA/dropback and 32nd in dropback success rate. Aaron Rodgers should be able to pick that defense apart and hit Garrett Wilson down the field once again. However, the best value in the prop market is on Wilson to score a touchdown. Wilson has scored four touchdowns in his past five games and you can bet Wilson to score a touchdown at +125 in this game.
The Cardinals’ defense has struggled through the air and the Jets have been throwing the ball inside the red zone. The Jets are first in the NFL in passing touchdown percentage with 76.19%. That means that over 3/4 of their touchdowns this season have come through the air, putting a ton of value on their top receiver to score at +125 against a bad secondary.
