In a rematch of Super Bowl LV, the Chiefs host the Buccaneers for Week 9’s Monday Night Football matchup. On DraftKings Sportsbook, Kansas City is a nine-point favorite and this tilt carries a total of 45.5 points.

Below, I have featured my favorite Travis Kelce prop to consider from this contest.

With Rashee Rice (knee) sidelined, Kelce is a sharp wager to go over this reception line. If we include Week 4, when Rice only logged 7% of the snaps, the wideout has missed four straight games and with Rice absent, Kelce has returned to being Patrick Mahomes’ main weapon. During this four-game span, Kelce is averaging 7.5 receptions per game and he has recorded at least six catches in three of these four tilts. Usage wise, Kelce is leading the Chiefs with 30.3% target share and a 91% route rate since Rice went down.

Kelce is catching a career-best 79.2% of his targets this season and this is a great matchup for him, with the Buccaneers using zone coverage at the second-highest rate this season. Over the last two seasons, Kelce ranks 12th in the NFL catches against zone (99) and 76% of his receptions have come against this type of coverage. Plain and simple, Kelce’s reception line should have been higher in this spot and he is a must-bet to go over 5.5-catches on Monday.
