Also this week, you’ll find some trends to be aware of when you’re making live bets while watching NFL Week 7 games.
Thursday
Denver Broncos at New Orleans Saints
1st NO Saints Drive Result Grouped: Offensive Score (+245)
Spencer Rattler had things clicking on offense to open Week 6. Throughout their seven offensive drives in the first half, the Saints managed to score four times.
Sunday
New England Patriots vs. Jacksonville Jaguars (London)
1st JAX Jaguars Drive Result: Punt (+110)
Throughout their first six games, four of the Jaguars’ opening offensive drives have resulted in a punt. In Week 6, three of Jacksonville’s four first-half offensive drives ended with a punt.
New York Jets at Pittsburgh Steelers
1st NY Jets Drive Result: Punt (-110)
Just like the Jaguars, the Jets have punted on four of six offensive opening drives this season.
1st NY Jets Drive Result Grouped: No Offensive Score (-200)
Like with previous weeks, this is a similar play to the one above. It allows for a wider range of outcomes, thus carrying longer odds.
The Jets have only opened one game with a first-drive score. Meanwhile, Pittsburgh has allowed the second-fewest points per game (14.3).
Monday
Baltimore Ravens at Tampa Bay Buccaneers
1st BAL Ravens Drive Result Grouped: Offensive Score (-120)
Baltimore’s offense has been rolling recently, and the scoring is coming early. In two of the last three games, the Ravens have scored an opening-drive touchdown. That’s helped them rank third in points per game over the last three weeks (35.3).
They’ll go up against a Tampa Bay defense that’s T8th in points allowed over the last three weeks (26.3).
Trends to Note When Live-Betting
- While New Orleans got cooking early in Week 6, things took a turn at the half. Spencer Rattler and company never scored again after posting 27 points in the second quarter. Additionally, two of the Saints’ six second-half offensive drives resulted in a Rattler interception.
- Evan Engram caught a pass on every second-half drive for the Jaguars in Week 6. He’s -110 to log one on the first Jacksonville offensive drive vs. New England. But, monitoring his momentum with Trevor Lawrence is something to be aware of all game — especially if the Patriots hold the lead late.
