NFL Best Bets Today: Top NFL Long Shot Plays for Week 6 Sunday Night Football on DraftKings Sportsbook

The Cincinnati Bengals and New York Giants are set to face off to conclude the Sunday slate in Week 6. Neither team has gotten off to the start they desired on the year with the Bengals holding a 1-4 record and the Giants sitting at 2-3 through the opening five weeks.

The Bengals enter as 3.5-point favorites in the matchup and are -180 on the moneyline on DraftKings Sportsbook. New York holds +150 odds on the moneyline while the game total sits at 45.5 points.

While there are plenty of breakdowns for sharper plays, start-and-sit breakdowns, and DFS picks, this article will take a look at some more long shot plays. These types of big swings come with high risk but can save your Sunday or at least allow you to have a little extra fun during the primetime matchup. Several of these plays come from the DK Specials section, which you can find here.

Andrei Iosivas Anytime TD (+400 Odds)

The Bengals have a loaded offensive attack that currently ranks fourth in scoring and ninth in yards produced so far this season. Joe Burrow leads the NFL in passing touchdowns with 12 already this year. There have been five different pass-catchers to record a receiving touchdown from Burrow this year. While Ja’Marr Chase leads the way with five, it is Andrei Iosivas who is second on the team with three receiving touchdowns.

The 24-year-old is in his second season with the Bengals after recording four touchdown receptions as a rookie. He stepped up in the early weeks of the season while Tee Higgins battled injuries and did a nice job earning the trust of Burrow. Standing 6-foot-3, Iosivas has a large catch radius and Burrow is not afraid to give him a chance to make a contested catch. He has been on the field for 76% of offensive snaps or greater in every game this season.

At +400 odds, Iosivas is worth a swing in tonight’s game. The Bengals have an explosive offense and the Giants rank 18th in passing touchdowns allowed. Expect the Princeton product to be given a chance in the red zone to score his fourth touchdown of the season on Sunday Night Football.

Wan’Dale Robinson Over 80+ Receiving Yards Alt Line (+255 Odds)

The Giants are set to be without rookie wide receiver Malik Nabers as he will miss his second consecutive week due to a concussion. Nabers has been excellent to start the season and is leading the entire NFL in targets and receptions while ranking eighth in receiving yards with 386 on the year.

While Nabers has been excellent, Wan’Dale Robinson has not been far behind. The third-year wideout is tied for the fourth most receptions and fifth most targets thus far this season across the entire NFL. Overall he has tallied 32 receptions for 230 yards and a pair of touchdowns. This also is a great matchup for Robinson and the Giants receivers. Cincinnati has struggled defensively this year and ranks 31st in points allowed and 26th in yards given up. They also rank 28th in passing touchdowns allowed.

Robinson’s standard receiving over/under sits at 54.5 receiving yards for this game which he has eclipsed in two of the past three weeks. Daniel Jones has quietly looked better of late and has thrown for at least 236 yards through the air each of the past three weeks and has only thrown one interception in the past four weeks. Robinson’s target share has not quite matched his level of production and this feels destined to change at some point. The ball will be thrown his direction plenty in this matchup and taking a chance at him to clear 80 yards at +255 odds should be well within his range if the game breaks the right way.

Darius Slayton Over 90+ Receiving Yards Alt Line (+425 Odds)

While Robinson has been dominating the majority of the target share, Darius Slayton has been the big play threat for the Giants. The veteran is coming off a breakout performance last week in which he tallied eight receptions for 122 yards and a touchdown. He has been targeted at least twice in every matchup, with his 11 targets last week marking a season-high.

Expect him to keep his place as the big play threat within the New York offense. Slayton will get at least one or two chances at a long reception and could knock out a significant portion of this 90-yard margin in this opportunity. His role will be reduced in the offense when Nabers returns, but he logged 90% of the offensive snaps last week. The Bengals’ defense has some significant points of concern, so don’t be surprised if the Giants look to air things out and break this game open.

Slayton’s receiving total over/under sits at 51.5 receiving yards for the game. It will take a big play opportunity, but don’t be shocked if Slayton can replicate last week’s explosive performance and record over 90 yards through the air.

Ja’Marr Chase to have a 60+ Receiving TD (+1400)

This is a high-risk prop that you should bet responsibly on. But Ja’Marr Chase has tallied a touchdown of 60+ yards 10 times already in his career. There have been 129 touchdown receptions of 60+ yards since Chase came into the NFL in 2021, meaning he has produced 8% of these long-range scores. This is more than any other player in the league, with Tyreek Hill coming second in the category with seven touchdowns of 60+ yards. Outside of Hill, no other player has had more than three long-range touchdowns.

Chase also has become one of only 30 players in NFL history to record touchdowns of 60+ yards in back-to-back weeks which occurred in Weeks 4 and 5. No player has ever had 60+ yard receiving touchdowns in three consecutive weeks and Chase will be looking to make history in this Week 6 matchup.

The former Offensive Player of the Year has had at least three receptions in each game and is involved in the offense in a variety of ways. Chase will be thrown the deep ball while also being capable of beating the defense after the catch with the ball in his hands.

While this is a high risk, Chase is the most important offensive weapon and can go the distance on any given touch. He is well aware of the history that is on the line and will surely be doing his best to etch his name in the record books.
