The Stanford Cardinal will hit the road this evening for a Pac-12 conference game against the Washington State Cougars. Wide receiver Elic Ayomanor is the Cardinal’s primary playmaker and has 30 catches for 530 yards in his past three games. Ayomanor, who almost seems like a shoo-in as a freshman All-American, left last weeks’ game against the Washington Huskies with an “upper-body” injury that looked like a shoulder issue.
The good news is that earlier in the week Stanford head coach Troy Taylor said that he was hopeful Ayomanor would play this weekend and there hasn’t been much more said about his status since then. Is no news good news? It appears so, but we won’t know for sure until it gets closer to the 9 p.m. ET kickoff.
Stanford will enter the game as a 13.5-point underdog on the road at DraftKings Sportsbook. The point total is set at 58.
