Every team is back in action tonight, starting at 6:40 p.m. ET. With zero rain in the forecast, you have plenty of games to choose from tonight. I’ll give you some of my favorite baseball best bets for tonight that you can tail on DraftKings Sportsbook.

Houston Astros at Baltimore Orioles
The Pick: Astros moneyline -118
The Orioles are spiraling right now. Not only are they 4-6 over their last 10 games but they’ve gone 9-11 in the month of August. Pitching is the biggest issue right now. If it’s not the rotation, it’s the bullpen. If it’s not the bullpen, it’s the rotation, they simply cannot get on the same page. Coming into tonight, as a staff, the Orioles have a 4.93 ERA with a 4.23 FIP. The Astros, have been the complete opposite this month. As a staff, they boast a league best 2.55 ERA with a 3.25 FIP and a 10.6 K/9.
I don’t find the pitching matchup to be essentially a coin flip as it’s priced. Hunter Brown has been so good after a very rough start to the season. Gone are the days when in April he had a 9.78 ERA by allowing 26 runs through 23 innings. Since April ended, he’s allowed a total of 33 runs in TOTAL! The Orioles are also very left-handed heavy, which works in Brown’s favor. On the season, lefties have only a .290 wOBA against him. I think this is a great spot to back the red hot Astros against Cade Povich.
Kansas City Royals vs. Philadelphia Phillies
The Pick: Royals team total over 4.5 runs -120
Another team that’s really been struggling lately is the Phillies. They’ve been a .500 team in August, going 9-9. Thankfully for them, they had such a sizable lead over the Braves in the NL East, as they’re playing well despite all their injuries. Tonight, the Phillies will start Taijuan Walker, who recently returned to the rotation after being out with finger injury. Walker has made two starts this month and has only gone 8.2 innings, allowing six runs against the Marlins and Nationals. Not exactly two teams you want to have subpar starts against. Walker has been even worse than advertised, as his 5.69 ERA is accompanied by a 6.39 xERA and a 6.08 FIP. That’s what happens when both sides of the plate are hitting him hard, with a .372 wOBA against lefties and a .369 wOBA against righties. I think this is a spot to take the Royals to go over their team total tonight against a struggling Phillies staff.

Arizona Diamondbacks at Boston Red Sox
The Pick: Diamondbacks team total over 4.5 runs -120
Another team total I like tonight is the D-Backs going up against the Red Sox at Fenway Park. They’ll be facing Brayan Bello, who, to his credit, has pitched well lately. During the second-half of the season, he has a 3.44 ERA with .307 wOBA and a 4.43 FIP through 34 innings of work. However, I think this will be one of his toughest games over this span. Bello doesn’t have good numbers against lefties, who have tagged him with a .363 wOBA and 13 of the 19 home runs he’s allowed. The D-Backs expected lineup for tonight will feature EIGHT lefties. The only exception would be Eugenio Suarez, who should be hitting seventh. That’s a damn gauntlet that Bello will have to face when it comes to this red hot lineup. This game has one of the highest game totals of the night at 10, so I think the D-Backs will do their part and score at least five runs tonight.
