Second-round action continues in Paris at Roland Garros Wednesday, with multiple big names headlining this slate.
Rain has delayed the action so far today, which gives us a bit of flexibility as more matches are available as options. I’m going to break down two of my best bets on DraftKings Sportsbook. Without further ado, let’s get into it.

Corentin Moutet vs. Alexander Shevchenko
Spread Games: Moutet -4.5 (-110)
This is an interesting one.
Both under 26 years of age, Moutet and Shevchenko have never faced off in their professional careers, yet there’s plenty to like about the former ahead of their first meeting.
Moutet is by no means a world-beater, but he does have extensive experience on clay in 2024, boasting a 19-13 record. He’s also fresh off a dominant victory over Nicolas Jarry, who many favored to make a relatively deep run in this tournament coming off a final appearance in Rome. Moutet handled him in four sets, dropping two or fewer games in each of the ones he clinched.
On the other side of this contest, Shevchenko also has a solid amount of exposure on clay this year, but he’s below .500 in those situations. He won his first-round match in much less-convincing fashion than Moutet, going the distance with Aslan Karatsev. I expect Corentin to advance with little fanfare today.

Pavel Kotov vs. Stan Wawrinka
Moneyline: Kotov (-150)
It’s a battle of youth vs. experience in this second-round match, and in this case, I expect youth to prevail.
At 39 years old, Wawrinka comes into this contest in relatively poor form despite winning in straight sets over Andy Murray. 10 years ago, that would have been a monumental turn of events. In current day, it is not. Stan has struggled on clay this year with a 4-7 record, having dropped five of his last seven.
Kotov, on the other hand, is battle-tested and hoping to kickstart a deep run. The 25-year-old is 9-5 on clay in 2024 and fresh off a massive first-round victory over Cam Norrie which went the distance. He put together strong showings in Madrid, Rome and Lyon, with all of his respective exits in those tournaments coming against top 20 ATP players.
While it would be great to turn back the clock and see a vintage Wawrinka run in Paris, I believe Kotov will handle him Wednesday.
