Rising Middleweight prospect Nick Galanti is set to make his UFC debut tonight against Julien Leblanc on the Prelims. Leblanc, 34, is 10-3 with eight finishes, while Galanti is 8-1 with six finishes. This UFC Fight Night is being held at Rogers Place in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada. The Prelims begin at 5:00 p.m. ET on Paramount+.

Check out my best bet for Julien Leblanc vs. Nick Galanti at tonight’s UFC Fight Night below.

Nick Galanti to Win by KO/TKO/DQ or Decision (+155)

Galanti, 28, recently earned a UFC contract by scoring a first-round knockout over Carlos Petruzzella on August 25 at Dana White’s Contender Series. In August 2024, Galanti suffered his lone MMA loss, but since then he has won six consecutive fights, with five coming by knockout or submission. Galanti’s first eight MMA fights came in popular regional promotion CFFC, where he won their Middleweight Championship.

In Leblanc’s first UFC fight, he suffered a first-round submission loss to Robert Valentin in April. Before that, Leblanc was on a five-fight winning streak. Leblanc is one inch taller (6’2″ vs. 6’1″), while Galanti has a one-inch edge in standing reach (75″ vs. 74″). In this fight, Galanti is a massive -675 favorite with Leblanc as a +495 underdog on DraftKings Sportsbook. This fight is -550 not to go the distance, with an over/under of 1.5 rounds: the under at -180 and the over at +140.

Since both fighters in this bout have four submissions, much of this contest could take place on the feet, as it will be hard to land a takedown. Galanti has won three of his previous four fights by knockout or decision. That said, I’m taking Galanti to win by KO/TKO/DQ or decision at +155. Even though he has only two career knockouts, Galanti showed in his last fight that when he’s aggressive, he has knockout power. Also, in Galanti’s last fight outside the UFC, he won a five-round decision, which shows he can win a longer bout as well.
